Power lines by Axel Boy & MØØNE

I would make a Goofy Movie reference, but I’ve never actually seen that film. This is pretty average Drum N Bass with too much singing and not enough going on instrumentally for me.

VAMP by Sikdope & Blinders

Can confirm: this is neither sick nor dope! Vocals are capital S Stupid, completely tarnishing a grimy Bass House instrumental with the worst Trippie Redd impression I’ve ever heard.

Cant Talk by Boombox Cartel & Famous Dex

Well, the Cartel are working with another XXL freshman, and that can only mean one thing: another EP is coming very soon! This is big, booming Festival Trap with minimal input from Famous Dex, who does his job well. The digression into what can only be described as Dark Moombahton is novel and exciting. Definitely worth a listen.

Lost Contact by Baclash & capshun

GNARLY! A stuttering, wiry trap groove shot through with vocal manipulation and wobbly bass.

Teka by DJ Snake & Peso Pluma

Not bad, has a real good shot at song of the summer. I like the house groove, the guitar loop is slick, and Peso Pluma has definitely sounded worse. I could do without the sirens on the final drop but otherwise this gets a gentle thumbs up from me. Free Palestine.

Stigma (Eptic Remix) by Noisia & Eptic

Deranged Dubstep flip that, while sorely in need of a melodic hook, absolutely blows the doors off.

Chains by Jauz & Nevve

Please let this not signal the return of Future Bass! We are past that! It’s done!

Burn It Down by Lizdek

This must be his year because he’s doing the same unrelenting rollout of dopeness Holly was on last year. This is absolutely disgusting.

Voodoo (NGHTMRE Remix) by Noisia & NGHTMRE

Absolutely insane. Any other week this would get best of the week but unfortunately Lizdek exists.

1:59 by Normani & Gunna

There is no reason whatsoever for the guest verse to suck this hard. Great R&B slow jam otherwise.
