Chain Gang by AFROJACK
Pretty good House cut. Nothing too complex, bit of a Laidback Luke vibe honestly.
Still On My Peak by Brvndon P
Extremely dated production and an especially uninspired performance. Flow from 2015. Paint-by-numbers lyrics.

Higher by Capital Kings, Evvie McKinney, & Jesse Francis
After a hiatus of half a decade, the only Christian electronic act worth mentioning returns with a pretty average House tune. The perfunctory grime breakdown doesn’t need to be here & the drop is a little flat but with all that being said…it shows real effort? It’s up to the standards of the day. I don’t love it but if we’re getting new music from these two it would seem they’re giving 100%. I look forward to hearing more.

PARADISE by capshun & SAVYER
A little more EDM-y than usual for capshun, in that it has a pretty standard lead synth on the drop, but there’s still plenty of his trademark rhythmic flourishes and a rich atmosphere. We once again have no choice but to stan. Second drop kicks ass too.

ON ACID by Cesqeaux & Natte Visstick
G Jones comes back and everybody thinks they can make Acid now lol.

LA On Acid by Dillon Francis & Good Times Ahead
What did I just say?

I like u (Dorian Electra Remix) by Tove Lo & Dorian Electra
Much, much less horny than I would’ve expected. Dorian gets weird with it but preserves a synthwave groove amid the chaos. It even samples Children in a non-obvious way.
Play With You by 24hrs & Holly
This would be a whole lot better without bargain barrel raps over it. Ah well. Hope Holly got a fat check for this outstanding beat he wasted on this no-name.
Breach by RL Grime & Juelz
AWWWWWWW YEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH…would be a lot better if RL Grime didn’t neuter the first drop but as soon as Juelz gets the wheel it immediately kicks into a much better gear. Still wouldn’t be in the top 5 tracks on Floorspace, though.
Glory 2 Glory by KB
Yeah I’m not sure Chicago Drill is the right sound for him, he keeps holding his flow & bars back, but I like the switch-up in the middle.

One Chance by knock2, NGHTMRE, & Marlhy
This is an ideal collaboration. knock2 brings a flavor of House music steeped in the sensibilities of the ‘00s club boom but with a current edge to it, and NGHTMRE super-charges it with a spacious atmosphere and a chunky half-time drop at the end. Really really good stuff.

Hello by Laidback Luke, Vinny, BEAUZ, & RayRay
Unbearably grating.

Unmei by Madison Mars
Pretty good! Got a nice groove to it, and the drop has some punch as well.

BREAKSHIT by Ookay & YDG
Really enjoying the aggro kick that Ookay’s been on this year. Another quality entry in that tradition. Second drop whips ass.

Fine Day Anthem by Skrillex & Boys Noize
A breathless, atmospheric flip of a Techno classic. Much like Baby Again this builds itself out as it goes. I know it absolutely kills live but I do appreciate being able to catch the little garnishes Sonny throws in on the second drop. I hope this signals another album coming but I’m fine if it doesn’t.
